I went to go see THIS IS IT a few weeks back and it really impacted me emotionally, creatively, and spiritually. Who can lie about it – Michael sure turned into a full-on freak show the past fifteen to twenty some odd years – especially the last ten – in one word – OY!!!

Yet his art is just absolutely spell bounding – I realized walking out of the theater that its okay to be a perfectionist, its okay to go for gold and when you get there – go BEYOND gold and love is what we all need and putting that into your art can deliver crazy results because it’s the one thing we all understand no matter race, color, creed, or language.

Lastly – have fun with what you do and be about it and smile with it – creating art is tough work but it doesn’t mean you can’t smile along the way.

Thanks Michael for lifting up the world and showing us something new – even though you became a nutty-morally questionable person.

If you are an artist of any kind then I encourage you to go see this film – and think about how you can apply it to your own craft.
